SERVICE DOGS FOR VETERANS

Vets Valor program provides Service Dogs for Veterans with service-connected psychiatric and/or physical disabilities.

Service dogs can help people with reduced mobility by providing support and assistance with everyday tasks. Our dogs can provide a sense of independence and companionship.

Our dogs are trained to help a child by providing emotional support and helping to alleviate anxiety and stress, as well as assist them with sensory processing.

Sunny the service dog brightens spirits

Meet Finn, NHPD's first canine officer!

Finn, one of our dogs who after 1,500 hours of training recently graduated from our program, has been sworn in as New Haven's Police Department first Facility Service Dog! Congratulations Finn!
