FUREVER FRIENDS PROGRAM

This program provides service dogs for families with children with autism

· Dogs provide pressure therapy

Our service dogs are trained to assist with sensory processing by providing deep pressure therapy, which can calm the nervous system and reduce anxiety.

· Improve social skills

Our dogs can be trained to help with social skills and communication by providing a non-judgmental companion and helping to facilitate interactions with other people.

With the help of our clients, we customize a training program that improves daily function of the child and their families.

The program is designed to train teams of 3:

● The parent/guardian as a main handler
● The child
● The service dog

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM YOU:

● Must to be willing to learn to work with a service dog,
create a bond, demonstrate ability to correctly
execute training in public, and embrace the dog into all
aspects of life.

● Are required to travel and attend mandatory weekly training at our training facility for a minimum of 6 months.

●  Must commit to upholding training for the lifetime of the dog.

● Are required to demonstrate an appropriate environment and available resources to properly care for a dog.
