FACILITY SERVICE DOGS PROGRAM

We train facility service dogs for Hospitals, Schools, Police Departments, and Courthouses.

Facility service dogs are trained to work with professionals within a specific environment.

They can provide emotional support to patients, students, and residents. The main job of these dogs is to extend the quality of services an organization provides while at the same time enhancing the life for the people they are serving.

IS A FACILITY SERVICE DOG THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION?

· Healthcare Facilities

A facility service dog can be used in clinics and hospitals to improve the quality of care by providing comforting support, improving participation, decreasing stress and anxiety of patients and employees, and helping to create a positive and calming environment in the hospital.

These dogs can visit patients in their rooms and provide companionship during their stay. Additionally, facility dogs can be used to assist with physical, occupational, and speech therapy by motivating patients to engage in activities and provide support during exercises.

· Educational Facilities

Schools and educational centers are great environments for a facility dog. The presence of a dog has been proven to decrease levels of stress in school-aged children. A well-trained facility dog can be used to help children with learning disabilities by providing a non-judgmental companion and help facilitate interactions with other students.

· Police Departments:

Police Department facility dogs are trained to provide emotional support to officers and victims of crimes, particularly during times of crisis; alleviating the stress and trauma associated with their work.

These dogs can also be used to help build positive relationships between police departments and the community they serve by participating in community outreach events and public demonstrations. Facility dogs can be a valuable asset to police departments and can help improve the effectiveness and well-being of law enforcement officers.

· Courthouses

Facility dogs can also be used in courthouses to provide emotional support to victims and witnesses of crimes. These dogs help to alleviate anxiety and stress associated with testifying in court, and can provide a calming presence during what can be a difficult and traumatic experience. Additionally, facility dogs can be used to help children who are involved in court proceedings by providing a companion and helping to alleviate feelings of fear. These dogs also can be used to help build positive relationships between the court system and the communities it serves.
